Restaurant365 is seeking an Analytical Engineer I to join our Enterprise Data Analytics team as a key contributor in building the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization. Positioned at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, this role plays an important part in maintaining governed datasets, scalable semantic layers, and analytical infrastructure that enable accurate reporting, forecasting, and advanced modeling throughout the business.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to deliver reliable data solutions.

How you'll add value:
  • Assist in implementing analytical data models and datasets within the enterprise data platform (Snowflake, dbt, etc.) under senior guidance
  • Learn to build basic transformations using modern ELT practices to support reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Support data quality initiatives by performing validation checks and identifying data inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and contribute to data solution implementation
  • Learn business intelligence tools and assist in maintaining existing dashboards and reports
  • Document data processes and transformations as part of learning and knowledge retention
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and training sessions to develop technical and domain expertise
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects while building proficiency in data analytics best practices
  • Shadow senior team members on stakeholder interactions to learn business context and communication skills

  • What you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • 1-2 years of experience in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence, preferably within a SaaS or data-driven organization 
  • Foundational SQL skills with eagerness to learn advanced querying techniques
  • Basic understanding of data concepts and willingness to learn modern data tools (dbt, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Exposure to programming languages like Python or R (academic or personal projects acceptable)
  • Familiarity with data visualization concepts or tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Growth mindset with enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
  • Bonus: Experience supporting ML workflows or working with data scientists to deploy models

  • This position has a salary range of $85,833.33 - $120,166.67 / year. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
