We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with deep experience in Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio and a strong focus on Gearset for deployment and release automation. This role is pivotal in streamlining and automating our Salesforce development lifecycle, ensuring scalable, reliable, and repeatable DevOps processes across a complex Salesforce ecosystem. 


What you’ll do here:  

  • Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes tailored for Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio environments using Gearset.  
  • Automate code deployments, environment syncs, and version control processes across development, testing, and production orgs.  
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and manage CI/CD pipelines.  
  • Manage and maintain Git repositories integrated with Gearset (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).  
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to deployment failures, conflicts, and performance bottlenecks.  
  • Manage and Automate Change Monitoring within the various orgs  
  • Support configuration, packaging, and deployment of OmniStudio components, including:  
    • OmniScripts  
    • Integration Procedures  
    • DataMappers  
    • FlexCards  
    • OmniStudio Actions  
    • Calculation Procedures / Matrices  
    • Templates and Custom LWC (Lightning Web Components) for OmniStudio  
  • Maintain best practices for source control, branching strategies, and metadata management in Salesforce.  
  • Work with QA and UAT teams to coordinate release cycles and environment refreshes.  
  • Document and evangelize DevOps standards, deployment workflows, and automation scripts.  
  • Conduct continuous training on Gearset/DevOps best practices for development team 


What you’ll bring to the team:  
  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, including at least 2 years with Vlocity/OmniStudio components. 

  • Proven expertise in using Gearset for Salesforce CI/CD and release management. 

  • Strong understanding of OmniStudio architecture and component relationships. Also understanding in Core Salesforce Architecture 

  • Hands-on experience with source control systems (Git), branching strategies, and conflict resolution. 

  • Solid scripting and automation experience (e.g., bash, Python, Node.js, or Salesforce CLI). 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and unlocked packages. 

  • Experience with metadata API and deployment techniques in Salesforce. 

  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. 

  • Salesforce Admin and/or Platform Developer certification(s). 

  • Bonus points… 

  • Vlocity Developer or OmniStudio Developer Certification. 

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 

  • Familiarity with additional DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Copado, CircleCI). 

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Managed Packages and their impact on deployments.
