We’re looking for a beauty education powerhouse to lead our retail education and events strategy across our key retail partners, Sephora and Ulta Beauty. As the National Retail Director of Education & Events, you’ll be the ultimate brand storyteller, inspiring field teams, sales associates, and beauty advisors with compelling, hands-on education programs that elevate our brand presence—and drive results.
This role sits at the heart of Living Proof’s retail engine, shaping the way our brand shows up on the sales floor, in training rooms, and at major events. Reporting directly to the SVP of Retail Sales & Trade Marketing, you’ll bring energy to a team of sales & education managers and coordinators across North America, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and International Education to ensure that Living Proof is the most talked-about haircare brand in the aisles of Sephora and Ulta.
You’ll also help to redesign our field sales onboarding education process, ensuring every new hire—from full time sales & education managers to freelancers—gets immersed in Living Proof's science, story, and standards from day one.

What You’ll Do
Lead Education Strategy for Sephora + Ulta
· Own the national education roadmap for our top retail partners, ensuring our programming meets their evolving needs and strategic goals
· Partner directly with Sephora + Ulta education teams to co-create programs that drive engagement, loyalty, and conversion
Create Best-in-Class Learning Experiences
· Build dynamic, multi-platform education programs (classroom, digital, social, in-store) that communicate product benefits with clarity and excitement
· Develop toolkits, training videos, and eLearning modules that make learning fast, fun, and sticky
· Work side by side with SEMs in their territory to put education into effect at the store level
· Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align education initiatives with key launches, campaigns, and annual go-to-market timelines
Redesign Onboarding Education
· Reimagine and implement a fresh, engaging onboarding education experience for new hires across freelance, field, and retail teams
· Ensure all employees are set up for success through immersive brand, product, and culture training
Elevate Our Field Force & Event Execution
· Inspire and develop a team of educators and event experts across North America
· Oversee large-scale event execution—think store leadership summits, seasonal brand weeks, and influencer education experiences
· Design “train the trainer” programs that scale excellence in delivery and product knowledge
· Serve as a liaison between corporate and the Field Sales teams to ensure education content is actionable, timely, and impactful
Drive Results Through Education
· Partner with SVP to craft performance metrics that tie education efforts to real retail sales growth
· Build feedback loops and analytics to measure training impact and optimize programs accordingly
Be the Bridge Between Brand + Retailers
· Act as the voice of Sephora and Ulta within Living Proof, ensuring retailer education needs shape our strategy while actively participating in retailer strategy meetings to identify education opportunities
· Collaborate across departments to align messaging, product storytelling, and promotional moments
· 5+ years in beauty education (specifically in hair care)
· 5+ years leading national education programs for major retailers (Sephora or Ulta required)
· Willingness to travel nationally up to 40%.
· Proven success leading field teams and executing unforgettable education experiences
· Killer communication skills—on camera, on stage, and in writing
· A sharp eye for translating brand strategy into actionable learning
· Creativity, collaboration, and a passion for mentorship
· Strong project management chops and the ability to juggle priorities with ease
· A love for data—and using it to make programs even stronger
