Job Title:    Senior Manager Sales Excellence and Learning  

Location:    Remote (Boston, Miami)

Description

The Senior Manager Sales Excellence and Learning establishes, implements, and directs all internal Sales, Sales Management and Home Office Management training programs to ensure the maximum organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determines sales training needs for the field sales force representatives and management and designs, develops and delivers training programs and curriculums to meet those needs.

  • Manages creation and delivery of sales programs to employees from new hire through upper management.

  • Coordinates activities with Sales Management, Marketing, Human Resources and other in-house personnel to develop program materials for POA's and other initiatives.

  • Analyzes and reports on progress of sales trainees under direct or indirect supervision during training assignments.

  • Manages relationships with all vendors and providers of outside training components making recommendations for new vendors as necessary.

  • Develops, implements and manages programs designed to increase the business acumen of sales management staff to insure achievement of corporate sales and profit objectives.

  • Assists in recruitment of sales personnel.

  • Conducts field visits to observe recent trainees to ascertain overall effectiveness of training programs in ‘real-life’ situations.

  • Directly supervises all Sales Training Managers and support staff.  Coordinates activities of Associate Training Managers and Regional Sales Trainers.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Other duties as directed by management.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or Psychology or related field 

  • Minimum 5 years of Combined experience as Sales Training Manager, Corporate Training Manager, or related experience within a corporate environment.  

  • Previous sales experience (i.e. Sales Rep, territory manager, etc.)  required

  • Dermatology, Skincare, Aesthetics or Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

  • Must be proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint as well as latest technological advances in training equipment, software and materials

  • Must be proficient in operation of latest field sales reporting hardware and software 

  • Must be current in new training methods, techniques of competitors, and pending introduction of new company and competitor products to ensure current and effective training programs for sales personnel

  • Up to 20% Travel
