Job description

Huron is a global consultancy that collaborates with clients to drive strategic growth, ignite innovation and navigate constant change. Through a combination of strategy, expertise and creativity, we help clients accelerate operational, digital and cultural transformation, enabling the change they need to own their future.

Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.

The Commercial Growth Enablement Team (GET) drives sales effectiveness across industries such as financial services, energy & utilities, and manufacturing. We support sales pursuits (RFPs, orals, and collateral), operations, and analytics.

We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Sales Strategist (Senior Associate level) to support top-of-funnel prospecting, pipeline development, account strategy, and data insights. This role is ideal for someone early in their career looking to build expertise in sales strategy, business development, and go-to-market execution within a consulting context.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement leaders to support high-impact initiatives and fuel smarter, faster growth decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting Support
  • Conduct research on accounts and prospects using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and Relsci.
  • Build and maintain target account lists aligned with commercial growth priorities.
  • Draft and refine outreach templates and enablement materials to support sales campaigns.
  • Track lead engagement activity and assist in identifying intent signals or follow-up actions.
Sales Enablement & Account Strategy
  • Create meeting prep materials, account summaries, and insights to support Sales Leadership.
  • Help organize and document account planning sessions with commercial teams.
  • Coordinate closely with peers in content and analytics to support go-to-market strategies.
Sales Performance Insights
  • Support the internal win/loss program through note-taking, tracking findings, and maintaining dashboards or summaries.
  • Help compile insights from sales activities to identify messaging, process, or qualification improvements.
Project Support & Coordination
  • Assist in cross-functional projects (e.g., campaigns, tool rollouts, content audits).
  • Track milestones, flag roadblocks, and support project leads in ensuring delivery.
  • Help prepare progress reports and presentation materials for leadership updates.
Team Collaboration
  • Share best practices and learnings with the broader GET team.
  • Support team documentation efforts (playbooks, resource libraries, SOPs).
  • Contribute to team meetings, feedback loops, and culture-building efforts.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or strategy-related roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ownership over deliverables.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and at times ambiguous environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and LinkedIn tools.

Preferred

  • Experience in a consulting or B2B sales environment.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Seismic, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Exposure to enablement or operations workflows (e.g., building decks, running reports).
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, learning, and process improvement.
