Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer with proven experience to lead and execute complex mechanical projects, improve production processes, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems in our facilities.

Main responsibilities within the job:

  • Lead the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Oversee the execution of engineering projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Analyze failures and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, automation, production, maintenance).
  • Ensure compliance with technical, environmental, and occupational safety standards.
  • Evaluate suppliers and participate in the selection of materials and equipment.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for the mechanical engineering area.

Qualifications

Education

  • Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).

Additional Training

  • Advanced knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Proficiency in ASME, API, ISO, and other standards related to mechanical equipment.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in similar positions

Valuable Experience

  • Project management experience.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Spanish and English
