About us:
Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve a problem—our armed forces were struggling with reliable connectivity. While living in barracks, often in remote locations, ordering a landline and booking in an engineer just wasn’t an option.
And that problem isn’t exclusive to the military, either. Students living in University accommodation, families visiting holiday resorts, or living in shared accommodation and retirement communities.
Conventional home broadband doesn’t always work for them.
Wifinity is different. We offer the same benefits as traditional broadband, such as super-fast speeds, WiFi, and secure and private networks, but none of the downsides. We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms.
We take the complexity out of connectivity.
The opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Marketing Manager to lead the charge on demand generation for our growing B2B business, specifically to own our public sector, defence, education and offshore vertical campaigns and brand profile in these markets.
This is a hands-on, commercially minded role with a clear mission: To deliver high-performing lead generation campaigns that result in good quality leads from our targets.
Working closely with our business development directors for these verticals, you’ll design and run multi-channel campaigns that are aligned with their KPIs.
Key areas of focus:
Lead Generation & Campaign Strategy
- Own the strategy and execution of integrated B2B campaigns across email, social, content, events and paid media – with the core objective of lead gen and strong ROI. We’re looking for a candidate experienced in self-managing campaigns and proactive ownership.
- Plan, execute and optimise vertical-specific marketing programmes across public sector, defence, education, and offshore oil and gas.
- Build strong working relationships with business development directors to co-create GTM strategies and marketing plans aligned to sales objectives.
- Develop and test segmented nurture campaigns using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, Pipedrive and our automation system – Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Content, Messaging & Sales Enablement
- Create compelling, sector-relevant messaging and content that speaks to customer pain points and sells our solutions – from landing pages and case studies, paid social ads, articles, sales enablement, email sequences and bid collateral.
- Write and edit customer-facing content that is clear, engaging and persuasive. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. There will be a lead gen campaign task as part of the interview process.
- Equip sales teams with high-impact collateral, campaign kits and outreach templates that support every stage of the funnel.
- Translate technical features and service detail into benefit-led, customer-friendly language.
Digital Marketing & Martech
- Own campaign setup, delivery and reporting using our Martech stack: Salesforce/Pipedrive, Marketing Cloud (or equivalent), Cognism for data sourcing, WordPress, and Canva.
- You will maintain lead gen records in Salesforce, report on campaign performance and optimise based on insights.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- You will work with our digital agency and in-house resources to deliver campaigns to deadlines.
- Collaborate with the broader sales, product and customer teams to align messaging and share insights.
- Contribute to bid support, product development initiatives and partnership marketing when required.
About you:
You will be great in this role if you are a proactive B2B marketer who enjoys campaign delivery and gets a buzz when a new webform comes in. You will have previous experience of, and be confident working with sales leaders. Again, lead gen campaign experience is a top priority.
Essential
- Proven success designing and delivering lead generation campaigns in a B2B environment.
- Experience marketing to public sector clients (MOD, DfE, NHS, local gov, universities) or similar verticals.
- Solid grasp of CRM and marketing automation tools (we use Salesforce and Pipedrive, but you might know Pardot, HubSpot etc).
- Google Analytics and LinkedIn/Meta ad campaign experience.
- Confident using WordPress, Canva and Google tools. Bonus if you have dabbled in HTML or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent writing and communication skills. You will be able to brief designers, draft emails, develop campaign content and engage with senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, juggling competing priorities, and showing clear ROI for activity.
Desirable
- Skilled in using data tools like Cognism or similar for targeting and prospecting.
- Basic HTML and Adobe Creative Cloud skills are a bonus but not essential.
- Marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM) are a bonus because they show you are serious about our industry. But your previous career experience should show that.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes an ‘Annual Leave Buy & Sell Scheme’, in addition to a remote first working environment, allowing our employees more flexibility when it comes to the importance of a healthy work / life balance. Please be aware that the successful applicant to this role will receive an offer which is subject to the satisfactory completion of a basic level DBS check.
