The PJCC is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for Summer 2025!

 

This 15-to-20 hour/week internship will give you an opportunity to gain professional experience in a wide range of digital marketing skills, including web analytics, social media marketing, and online reputation management in a lively, engaging nonprofit setting.

 

Our ideal candidate is creative, compassionate, and committed to using his or her skills to build community and embody the mission & vision of the PJCC in their work.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating reports on the performance of PJCC digital media channels, including our website and key social media accounts
  • Conducting keyword research to help the PJCC optimize its online marketing and advertising efforts
  • Designing social media “listening” reports to better understand relevant trends as well as the PJCC’s online reputation
  • Exploring new and emerging tools (such as social media networks, SMS marketing strategies, and so on) that will help us expand our digital marketing efforts
  • Benchmarking web and social media presence of related businesses and organizations for better understanding of our competition and overall marketplace online
  • Developing a weekly seasonal social media campaign that engages new audience members
  • We invite creativity and are looking forward to the opportunity to experiment with new messaging or social strategies

Basic breakdown of work schedule (Four 5-hour days/week)—all includes discussion and review with PJCC team

  • 1 day/week Creating and reviewing Google Analytics reports
  • 1 day/week Reviewing SEM/PPC and keyword research
  • 1 day/week Listening reports, online reputation management, benchmarking
  • 1 day/week Creating social media campaign

Approximate length of service ideally 7-8 weeks

A complimentary Center membership is included for the duration of the internship. The candidate that is selected will be expected to abide by the PJCC’s employment policies and maintain confidentiality regarding all data analytics and member/program participant/donor/staff data.
