We’re on the hunt for a Junior Data Analyst/Scientist to join our Data Team and help shape the future of Business Intelligence at Xentral.
Your mission:
In this role, you’ll transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter decisions across the company. Working at the crossroads of Business Intelligence, data engineering, and analytics, you’ll deliver clean, reliable data and power reporting that helps every team at Xentral thrive.

Your Tasks
  • You collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to uncover data needs and opportunities
  • You support business teams with sharp analyses that drive strategic and operational decisions
  • You build and maintain dashboards and reports that bring clarity and insight
  • You empower teams with self-service analytics by defining and structuring key metrics
  • You keep our data pipelines clean and transformations reliable
  • You contribute to documentation and data models that ensure consistency, usability, and trust

  • Your Profile
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field — Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
  • You’ve gained hands-on experience with data through full-time jobs, internships, or student positions
  • You write solid SQL and know your way around BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • You’re comfortable working with Python libraries like pandas
  • You’ve seen data pipelines and workflows (AWS, Airflow, dbt — even better!)
  • You think analytically, communicate clearly, and love taking ownership
  • You juggle projects with confidence and thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • You speak both German and English fluently
