About the Project

The Employee Assistance Program is a planned initiative to offer confidential counseling and support services to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) employees, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and workplace concerns through remote and virtual delivery.

Job Title: Clinical Director

Duties:

  • Oversee all clinical aspects of the EAP program

  • Supervise and audit substance abuse cases (every 6 months)

  • Review and consult on priority cases (e.g., threats, substance abuse, violence)

  • Provide emergency availability and case supervision

  • Ensure clinical compliance with NRC policies and 42 CFR Part 2

Qualifications:

  • Master’s/Doctorate in clinical mental health field

  • 10+ years clinical supervisory experience

  • State-licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or CEAP)
