About Kasada
Join us in stopping bad bots, for good! Kasada protects millions of online users everyday. Founded to stop automated bot attacks, we believe the internet should be a safe place for everyone. Bad bots are highly destructive. They take over accounts, steal content, overload systems and infrastructure and cause billions of dollars in damages every year. Seeking to restore trust in the internet, Kasada stops bots at the very first request including those that have never been seen before.
We’ve grown from a few friends working out of a shipping container under the Sydney Harbour Bridge to now operating globally, we’re spread across the world protecting some of the most well-known brands on the face of the earth.
We’re an innately curious team that’s not afraid to bring bold ideas to create better ways of solving problems. We’re looking for people who are passionate about solving some of the most difficult and pressing cybersecurity issues, while having fun doing it!
What you will be doing; As our Senior Integrations Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between our customers and product teams, ensuring seamless implementation of Kasada's bot detection technology across diverse customer environments.
Your days will be spent solving complex integration challenges that require deep technical expertise—from architecting solutions for enterprise clients to debugging intricate implementation issues that stump our support teams.
You'll split your time between hands-on technical work (writing integration code, researching emerging technologies, and troubleshooting live customer environments) and strategic activities (developing integration patterns, creating technical documentation, and providing product feedback that shapes our roadmap).
This role combines the problem-solving excitement of engineering with the customer impact of solutions architecture, positioning you as the go-to expert who transforms complex technical requirements into successful customer outcomes while elevating the capabilities of our entire customer-facing organization. What you will be working with;Technology Stack & Platforms: You'll work hands-on with modern web and mobile application architectures, primarily using JavaScript/TypeScript alongside a variety of other languages to build and troubleshoot integrations. Your day-to-day will involve working across diverse customer environments including major CDN platforms (Cloudflare, Fastly, AWS CloudFront), REST and GraphQL APIs, and edge compute solutions. You'll leverage browser developer tools, network debugging proxies, and log analysis platforms to diagnose complex integration issues and optimize performance.
Customer Environments: You'll engage with a wide range of customer technology stacks—from Fortune 500 enterprises running legacy systems to cutting-edge startups using the latest frameworks. This includes everything from React and Angular web applications to native mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, and high-traffic content sites. Each customer presents unique architectural challenges that require creative problem-solving and deep technical understanding.
Internal Tools & Teams: You'll collaborate closely with our Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams using our internal documentation platforms, ticketing systems, and monitoring tools. You'll be the technical voice in customer calls, the integration expert in product planning sessions, and the escalation point for our support organization. Your insights will directly influence our product roadmap and customer success strategies.
Data & Analytics: You'll work with various logging and monitoring systems to analyze integration performance, identify patterns in customer issues, and validate solution effectiveness. This includes interpreting network traces, application logs, and performance metrics to make data-driven recommendations for both individual customers and our broader product strategy. What you’ll bring Technical Excellence: You bring senior-level programming expertise in JavaScript and at least one typed language, combined with deep understanding of modern web and mobile application architectures. Your networking knowledge spans HTTP, TCP, and API protocols (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), while your CDN experience—particularly with edge compute—enables you to architect solutions that perform at scale. You're equally comfortable writing custom integration code and using browser dev tools to debug complex network issues.
Problem-Solving Mastery: You excel at breaking down complex technical challenges into manageable components, quickly identifying root causes through logical analysis. Your creativity shines when designing innovative integration solutions that work within customer constraints, while your analytical thinking helps you evaluate trade-offs and recommend the most scalable approaches. You use data to validate your solutions and inform your decisions.
Communication & Collaboration: You communicate technical concepts clearly across all audiences—from engineering teams to C-level executives—and create documentation that actually helps people succeed. Your remote collaboration skills enable you to work effectively across time zones and teams, while your active listening ensures you truly understand customer needs before proposing solutions.
Leadership & Organization: You manage multiple complex integration projects simultaneously without dropping the ball, prioritizing effectively based on impact and urgency. You proactively identify risks and opportunities, keeping stakeholders informed while taking ownership of outcomes. Your proven track record of delivering meaningful results across distributed teams makes you the reliable escalation point our organization needs.
Growth Mindset: You're energized by the unknown—whether it's a customer's unique tech stack, an emerging integration pattern, or a product challenge that requires creative thinking. You share knowledge generously, elevate your teammates, and see every complex customer situation as an opportunity to improve our product and processes. We are committed to offering a fair compensation package that reflects the level of expertise and skills each individual brings to the role.
