Role Purpose

The Retail Allocator plays a crucial role in supporting our retail operations by ensuring accurate and timely allocation of stock to stores. This position is responsible for analyzing sales and stock data to drive effective replenishment strategies, ensuring optimal product availability that supports sales performance and brand integrity across locations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze weekly sales and inventory reports to identify trends and determine stock allocations for both new and existing products.
Allocate products to stores based on brand strategy, outlet segmentation, geographic demand, and sales performance.
Maintain appropriate stock levels at each location, adhering to “optimal cost on hand” constraints to avoid over- or under-stocking.
Collaborate closely with the Merchandise Planner to align allocations with projected sales trends and respond to demand fluctuations.
Coordinate with the Buying and Marketing teams to ensure timely distribution of monthly seasonal drops to stores.

Requirements

Proven experience in a high-volume retail allocation or merchandise planning role.
Strong background in inventory management with a track record of ensuring stock availability and driving sell-through.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level) for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable allocation decisions.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
