Job description

This is a remote position.

Designation Intern – Tech                                                                     Department – IT 

 

Fibmesh is an innovative tech startup building smart network solutions. Our products — NeuConnect and NeuConnect+ — are redefining how people experience digital connectivity. 

We’re looking for a tech-savvy intern who loves tinkering with hardware, exploring new ideas, and learning by doing. If you're someone who enjoys working independently and figuring things out hands-on, this might be the perfect role for you! 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Try out NeuConnect and NeuConnect+ to understand how they work 
  • Test real-world setups on devices like Raspberry Pi, laptops, routers, and NAS 
  • Set up and troubleshoot Linux-based systems 
  • Record screen videos and write step-by-step how-to guides 
  • Create sample home/office setups and test VPN or secure network use cases 
  • Research open-source tools and help with internal tech experiments 
  • Give feedback on usability, bugs, or any issues you notice 



Requirements

Desired Candidate  

  • Currently pursuing Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related fields, or similar 
  • Fresh graduates, or hobbyists or students with strong interest who can demonstrate experience in Linux, networking, or DIY tech projects are welcome to apply 
  • Curious and self-driven — loves learning by doing 
  • Comfortable with Linux, command line, and basic networking (IPs, ports, VPNs) 
  • Has tinkered with Raspberry Pi, NAS, or similar setups 
  • Knows some scripting (Bash/Python is a plus) 
  • Exposure to OpenWRT/DD-WRT is a bonus 
  • Can document clearly (writing or screen recordings) 
  • Works independently and enjoys solving tech problems
