Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at ScalableOS, you will serve as the
first point of contact for many potential clients, helping drive our sales pipeline and
supporting our Director of Business Development in selling ScalableOS’s offshore
staffing solutions. Successful BDRs excel at building strong business relationships,
communicating with key decision-makers, and driving early-stage sales activity. This
role requires a competitive spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to
collaborate effectively in a team environment. You will partner closely with our
Director of Business Development and CEO, as well as the Marketing team, to nurture
leads and drive new client acquisition.
Job Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed assigned appointment-setting and lead generation quotas.
• Follow up on inbound leads and identify qualified opportunities, providing the
right information at the right time.
• Educate and nurture prospects, leading to hand-offs to the Director of
Business Development and CEO.
• Develop and maintain target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts.
• Conduct cold outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to prospects from
various lead sources.
• Research, profile, and qualify strategic accounts and key decision-makers to
start the sales cycle.
• Set qualified appointments when prospects are sales-ready.
• Nurture new leads and move them through the Business Development
pipeline.
• Collaborate with Director of Business Development and marketing teams on
strategic approaches for outreach and engagement.
• Ensure accurate documentation of lead activity and qualification information
within CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
• Develop a strong understanding of ScalableOS offerings and value
proposition.
• Research client industries and markets to tailor outreach and uncover
strategic opportunities.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, ensuring a seamless hand-off between
marketing, BDR, and BD leadership.
• Build and maintain prospecting lists, update lead generation reports, and
contribute to forecasting efforts.
• Execute outbound email campaigns and outbound sales activities.
• Ensure all lead activity is logged and reportable with attention to detail and
organizational accuracy.
• Support the development of lead generation goals and report weekly on
performance against objectives.

Job Requirements
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, telesales, or marketing with a focus on
outbound B2B demand generation and lead generation in industries such as:
• Enterprise, SaaS, Cloud, IT, Cybersecurity, or Managed Service Providers (MSP).
• Strong and confident communicator comfortable engaging with C-level
executives.
• Excellent written communication skills; ability to craft persuasive emails and
outreach messages.
• Demonstrated creativity and leadership in developing new prospecting
approaches and campaigns.
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot
and Salesforce.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Apollo.io
Outreach.io, Salesloft, or similar.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate urgency, and drive issues to
closure.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Self-motivated, driven, with a dynamic and professional demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to track and forecast lead generation goals
accurately.
• Bachelor’s degree required
