What You'll Do as an Electro-Mechanical Field Technician:

  • Travel to our agricultural, industrial, and commercial clients to provide on-site service
  • Diagnose & repair electrical and mechanical issues independently.
  • Install, integrate, & upgrade systems per blueprints and specs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maximum performance and safety
  • Maintain detailed service records and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with engineers and teams to optimize system performance.
  • Communicate with customers to schedule visits and provide updates.
  • Support & train junior technicians.
  • Work full-time from 6:45 AM to 4 PM, with some variation based on job demands.
  • Participate in monthly on-call rotation (one week per month).


Our Ideal Electro-Mechanical Field Technician:

  • Experience: 2–5 years in the electrical and mechanical fields, and a high school diploma is required. An associate's degree, vocational training, or technical certification is preferred. Solid understanding of electrical wiring, circuitry, mechanical systems, controls, and ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals. Familiar with stop/start circuits; hands-on PLC experience preferred but not required.
  • Self-starter: Proactively manages priorities and adapts to changing work demands. Performs mid-level electrical and mechanical repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Communicative: Maintains good communication with co-workers and customers.
  • Team Player: Collaborates well and maintains cooperative working relationships.
  • Problem-Solver: Applies logical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues calmly under pressure.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable operating computers and tablets for documentation and diagnostics.
  • Active: Able to stoop, bend, push, and stand for long periods; full range of motion and dexterity required; able to lift up to 70 lbs. 
  • Must have your own set of basic tools
