Job description

This job is responsible for to drive increases in both company product production and dealership F&I performance by generating new sales leads and developing Assurant Dealer Services (ADS).  Performance goals will include increasing revenues and developing accounts using our extensive portfolio of products and services.


What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? 

  • Provide day-to-day support of national and large strategic accounts

  • Develop and foster relationships with those accounts with the goal to increase F&I product sales and improve overall F&I dealership performance.

  • Prospect and acquire new automotive dealership accounts to partner with ADS in your assigned regional area.

  • Implement policies and procedures for newly acquired business.

  • Develop and sell dealership training.

  • Track and monitor dealership performance.

  • Increase revenues and develop accounts using ADS extensive portfolio of products and services.

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • Three or more years retail automotive dealership management experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of retail automobile dealership operation.

  • Experience working with large national dealership accounts.

  • Current state licensing required for assigned territory or the ability to obtain licensing.

  • At least two years of experience in the field of sales, management, and customer relations required.

  • Strong sales skills.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Problem-solving and customer service skills.

  • Computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

  • Must be a team player as well as able to work independently.

  • Must be able to travel to dealerships in assigned region.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Three or more years of previous ADS Field experience with a proven track record of supporting large multi-rooftop accounts.

  • Proven retail sales experience in the automotive industry a plus.

  • At least three years of job-specific automotive experience in auto sales or service management.

How much should I expect to travel? 

50-65% travel

Pay Range:

$86,000.00 - $143,700.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
