We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Executive Director of Global Technology Solutions with a focus on Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in financial technology, investment management, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This leader will emphasize process excellence and leverage technology and AI to drive advancements and automation in finance operations.

This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our financial strategies and ensuring the successful integration of cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The Executive Director will collaborate closely with senior finance leadership and will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Lead the technology strategy for the Finance department, aligning technology initiatives with Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, and Audit.
  • Drive innovation by implementing advanced technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance activities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of systems and solutions that support Finance activities, including data integration and management, analytics, and AI-driven insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of finance data through robust data management and analytics platforms.
  • Focus on process optimization and automation to streamline Finance workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that technology solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies and implement best practices in risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the technology solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of advancements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance IT capabilities and support Finance initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and 14+ years of related experience or Master’s degree and 10+ years of related experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in technology leadership roles within the Biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, fintech applications).
  • Proficiency in software development, data management, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)
  • Extensive experience in technology leadership roles within the Biotech/pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies and their application in the Biotech industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with data management and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $235,600.00 - $315,600.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
