Staff Psychologist - Telehealth, Part Time, Fully Remote

Position Overview

• The Staff Psychologist position is responsible for conducting biopsychosocial evaluations for patients with a range of neurodevelopmental and behavioral health disorders in order to direct them towards appropriate therapeutic interventions. They also assess/reassess the efficacy of behavioral health interventions that are being provided through community-based services. Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania to be considered as this is a part time, remote position. 

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations in accordance with Pennsylvania Medical Assistance guidelines.
• Determine medical necessity for therapeutic interventions.
• Develop programs to support patients and families including therapeutic interventions appropriate for individuals up to 21 years of age.
• Evaluate treatment progress of community-based therapeutic interventions.
• Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience
• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology and licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work well with families and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Knowledge of current literature and treatment trends.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania’s behavioral health Systems of Care.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• This job is primarily a remote role conducted in an environment of the employee’s choosing.
• It is the responsibility of the employee to provide a space that is conducive to working and complies with patient privacy requirements.
• This job operates in both a professional and or home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer/tablet, phone, photocopier, filing cabinet, and printer.
• Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include light-medium moving and extensive self-positioning.
