Job Summary:

Oversees digital content strategy and standards across all lines of business and is adept at writing and editing content for a range of audiences from existing and prospective patients, members, employees, students, public, etc. across all digital channels. Leads and mentors digital content team that authors and manages website and digital content for customer-facing engagement. Uses SEO and consumer lens to shape educational, informational and storytelling solutions that support system and health plan business and brand initiatives. Ensures all digital content follows established brand guidelines, aligns with all other consumer-facing marketing materials, and is production-ready for Geisinger's web templates and components.

Job Duties:

  • Develops and oversees digital content strategies and objectives for Geisinger's enterprise website and digital properties, leading digital content team in successful execution.
  • Governs consumer-centered voice and tone for digital channels.
  • Analytically driven – regularly evaluates content effectiveness, implements optimization processes and monitors KPIs to track content efforts.
  • Establishes and oversees process for bi-annual reviews of evergreen website content with respective subject matter experts to ensure ongoing accuracy for governance/compliance.
  • Partners with various Marketing and Communications team members, proactively bringing forth ideas for content and collaboration in alignment with Geisinger's strategic imperatives.
  • Oversees production of high-quality short, medium, and long-form content projects across a wide range of digital channels.
  • Both writes content and edits content produced by direct reports with SEO and digital content best practices in mind.
  • Mentors direct reports to develop excellence in digital content standards.
  • Provides direct feedback/analytics on KPIs to improve performance of content initiatives.
  • Sets meaningful business goals and measures content KPIs, showing impact on objectives.
  • Thoroughly understands the brand and ensures consistent expression of voice across all digital touchpoints.
  • Actively takes a seat at the table to understand business objectives and formulate a supporting content strategy.
  • Oversees content calendar to ensure balance of SEO opportunities, brand and system/health plan marketing support
