Job Title: Epic Clinic Systems Analyst (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Compensation: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Location: Remote (No travel required)

Schedule: CST Business Hours


Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Clinic Systems Analyst for a 6-month remote contract engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of Epic applications supporting clinic and ambulatory operations. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Epic modules related to outpatient workflows and proven success collaborating with clinical and technical teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide system analysis, build, testing, and troubleshooting for Epic clinic modules (such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence, MyChart, etc.).

  • Translate clinical and business needs into functional specifications and solutions within the Epic platform.

  • Participate in the implementation of new features, system upgrades, and workflow optimizations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, clinicians, and technical teams to gather requirements and drive solutions.

  • Monitor system performance, resolve support tickets, and ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Document system design, build decisions, and change control in accordance with project and organizational standards.

  • Maintain alignment with Epic best practices and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Epic Analyst supporting outpatient/clinic modules.

  • Must be certified in at least one Epic application related to ambulatory or clinic workflows (EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence, or similar).

  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of ambulatory clinic operations and workflows.

  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Availability during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours is required.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Epic upgrades and versioning.

  • Familiarity with telehealth, patient access, or registration workflows.

  • Prior experience working with healthcare provider organizations or health systems.
