Our direct client a large healthcare insurance provider is seeking to hire Sr. Data Architect for a long-term contract role.

Job Title: Senior Data Architect
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103 | Open to 100% remote candidate who can work per EST.
Duration: 12 months with possible extension, W2 only
Pay rate: $75/HR - $85/HR (negotiable).

Job Description:

Open to fully remote but working EST hours!
Solution data flows and implement database architectures to support business objectives and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Ensure data quality and collaborate with various teams to align data solutions with business needs.
Team works on GCP platform (preferred) and Big Query Datawarehouse (preferred).
10-12 years of experience - looking for hybrid data architect with solutioning.
Heavy SQL required - will be processing large data sets.
Need an excellent communicator with strong technical ability along with solutioning.

Data Warehousing - specializes in the provider space

Two projects:

Capitation payments to the provider- working in that app.
Provider repository
Very good with data, strong technical ability with SQL
May have a little bit of solutioning as well.
Good communication skills to understand requirements/needs from business members and take that and perform data analysis, proof of concepts, and analyze data to solutions.
Optimizing for performance according to the design putting forward.
Platform is Google Cloud platform, and Warehouse is Bigquery.

Day to Day:

Going to be across multiple applications, if they have a provider background it is super helpful.
Day to day may depend on the phase of the project. Speaking with business members and seeing what needs to be done. Very hands on role – need to be able to run queries, if the approach is viable.

Background experience:

Understanding providers and how networks are set up, understanding bank files. If they are understanding accounting and how things are booked. (this is preferred not necessary)
Ability to write complex SQL queries, large dataset processing.
Exp. With provider networks, credentialing, data management, provider directories.
Technologies: GCP platform a big plus (Bigquery big plus)- preferred but not required, very strong SQL skills.
Experience dealing with large data sets.
Within GCP processes such as airflow – that control the workflow – familiarity will help (especially for proof of concepts).
50/50 must be able to solution items, must be able to be in with the developer. If something goes sideways must be able to go in and review the code.
