Job description

Key Responsibilities:
 
Strategic Architecture Development:
  • Design and maintain comprehensive data architecture standards, principles, and models aligned with enterprise business goals across Customer, Products, Employees, Vendors, and Assets domains.
  • Lead the evolution and enforcement of enterprise data strategies, emphasizing data quality, integration, master data management, identity resolution, security, and compliance.
Platform Expertise:
  • Architect data solutions leveraging Azure SQL Server and Data Fabric, Snowflake, DBT, Salesforce Data Cloud, and related data technologies.
  • Optimize integration and interoperability between Salesforce clouds (Sales, Billing and Revenue, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds) and core data management platforms.
Data Governance, MDM, and Identity Resolution:
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Governance Lead and team to define and implement robust data governance frameworks, utilizing tools such as Alation for metadata management.
  • Provide architectural leadership and oversight for Master Data Management (MDM) strategies, ensuring accurate, consistent, and reliable enterprise data across all five data domains.
  • Architect solutions for Identity Resolution (IDR) to effectively unify identities across multiple platforms and data sources.
  • Develop and enforce data security and privacy standards in coordination with cybersecurity and compliance teams, especially related to healthcare and financial data.
  • Cloud and Data Infrastructure Leadership:
  • Drive cloud migration strategies, ensuring smooth transition and optimized operation of data systems within Azure and Snowflake ecosystems.
  • Provide architectural guidance on expanding and enhancing transactional data capabilities, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Architect scalable data solutions supporting advanced analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven capabilities utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Develop data architecture enabling real-time and near-real-time analytics capabilities for operational and strategic insights.
Technical Excellence and Innovation:
  • Foster innovation in data management, proactively recommending new technologies and methodologies to enhance data architecture effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and security teams to ensure technical standards are continuously updated and communicated.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data architecture roles, ideally within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Extensive experience with cloud data platforms, specifically Azure and Snowflake.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce ecosystem integrations and architecture, including Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Experience implementing and governing data architecture strategies using platforms like Alation and DBT.
  • Demonstrated experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Identity Resolution (IDR), and data quality initiatives.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior leadership, and articulate complex data strategies clearly and persuasively. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with automotive industry software or related SaaS-based solutions.
  • Professional certifications in Azure (Azure Solutions Architect), Salesforce, or related data governance and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including experience with tools such as Harness.io and GitHub.
