Job description

We’re looking for a results-driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for closing deals from SMB to mid market customer segment, working with qualified opportunities generated by our global Inbound and Outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You’ll play a critical role in converting marketing and XDR-driven pipeline into revenue.

Responsibilities -

  • Own the full sales cycle from qualification to close for the allocated market segment.
  • Engage and convert inbound leads and outbound-qualified opportunities from global BDRs.
  • Conduct discovery calls and tailored product demos that speak to customer needs.
  • Clearly communicate Gumlet’s value proposition across different buyer personas (tech, product, marketing).
  • Handle objections, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations efficiently.
  • Ensure CRM is updated with accurate pipeline and activity data.
  • Collaborate closely with BDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success to optimize handoffs and maximize conversions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Skills And Qualification -

  • 2–4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably with a high-velocity or SMB/mid-market motion.
  • Proven ability to close high-volume deals in the $2K–$10K ARR range.
  • Strong discovery, consultative selling, and demo skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across cultures and time zones.
  • Comfortable working with global leads and across international sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Loom, and Slack
Bonus Points -

  • Experience in selling media tech, video streaming, or developer-focused SaaS products.
  • Technical aptitude to understand topics like video encoding, CDNs, and web performance. 
  • Prior experience in a product-led growth (PLG) or self-serve SaaS environment.

Requirements
Education requirements -

  • Possess at least a BE/BTech or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years of prior experience with a proven success track record in deal closure roles in a target-driven environment, ideally in CRM/Saas/High-Tech 
  • Excellent command of English (understanding, speaking, and writing)
