Key Responsibilities • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for Guidewire applications, ensuring thorough coverage of functionalities . • Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual functional testing on Guidewire Digital Portals and utilize existing automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency . • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and developers to understand requirements, build comprehensive test suites, and ensure that the software meets business needs . • Defect Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues promptly . • Regression and Integration Testing: Conduct regression and integration testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities . Required Skills and Qualifications • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline . • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software testing of web and API platforms, with at least 2 years of experience with Guidewire digital products . • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), and experience in testing Android and iOS applications . • Understanding of QA Processes: Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile practices . • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the insurance industry, particularly with Property & Casualty insurance, is often required . • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing business environments .
