Job Description: ServiceNow Administrator

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM) to meet business requirements.

  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize disruptions.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, MID servers, or ETL tools.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues, working with ServiceNow support and cross-functional teams to resolve critical incidents.

  • Create and maintain documentation, including configuration guides, process workflows, and administrative procedures.

  • Monitor platform performance, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices for system governance and compliance.

  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions within the ServiceNow framework.

  • Stay updated on ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends to recommend improvements and optimizations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, with hands-on expertise in configuring and managing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications such as CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in one or more modules preferred.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including its modules, workflows, and data structures.

  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, integrations, and operational support, including troubleshooting and resolving platform issues.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and their application within ServiceNow.

  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., JavaScript) and integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, MID servers) for ServiceNow customizations.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
