The Opportunity
As part of the Executive Protection, Travel Safety, and Event Security team you will manage the Travel Risk Management program. The role is pivotal in assessing the safety and security of our employees during their travels, aligning with our broader Security Risk Management initiative with Executive protection and Event Security. As a Senior Manager you will lead efforts to assess, mitigate, and manage travel-related risks, providing innovative solutions and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Promote operational excellence through project management and client interaction
- Manage a comprehensive travel risk management strategy that aligns with organizational goals and broader security protocols
- Conduct thorough travel risk assessments, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Innovate and refine processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of travel risk management operations
- Monitor and analyze global travel security trends and emerging threats
- Guide teams through complex challenges, maintaining composure in uncertain situations
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and performance within the team
- Implement strategic initiatives that align with client needs and industry trends
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
- Maintain key client relations in the context of security management
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preferred Degree in Risk Management or Criminology
- Demonstrating in-depth abilities in client needs assessment
- Understanding relevant laws and law enforcement procedures
- Demonstrating proficiency in investigative skills
- Managing physical threats and difficult separations
- Developing risk management strategies and preventative measures
- Understanding asset management and tracing
- Demonstrating Security, Law Enforcement or legal background
- Demonstrating experience in travel risk management or a related field, with a strong track record of leading complex projects
- Understanding risk management strategies and preventative measures
- Demonstrating knowledge of global travel security trends and threat landscapes

For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
