About the gig

A large part of the success of our client partner depends on quickly adapting their curriculum and portfolio to market needs. The Director of Education is a critical role to ensure yjey have clear vision and execution when building and updating our products to better meet the needs of their customers and the market.

We’re looking for a Director of Education that will be responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts to build the world's best training and upskilling programs. The Director will report to the VP or Product and is Remote-friendly.

As the Director of Education, you will be responsible for all aspects of our client partner's educational programs, including:

• Defining and communicating the strategy with all involved stakeholders
• Gathering insights about our users and translating them into a prioritized backlog with the Product team
• Identifying the right success metrics and tracking them
• Problem-solving with cross-functional experts in engineering, education, outcomes, data science

Responsibilities:

  • Manages roadmap and timelines for new program development
  • Works directly with subject matter experts to develop curriculum
  • Manages contractor Budget for subject matter experts
  • Works with data team to identify new opportunities
  • Works with B2B team to manage new opportunities
  • Competitive analysis/assessment of existing programs and curricula
  • Defines continuously the next version of quality and pedagogy of Ironhack programs
  • Works with outcomes team to translate market trends into learning outcomes requirements
  • Works with Core Edu team to reset learning outcomes of existing verticals
