Program Assignment: Therapeutic Services 

Supervisor: Director Of Therapeutic Services 

Schedule: Full-Time, Flexible

Job Summary: The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality therapy services and evaluations to children supported by Abilis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with children who have sensory integration/processing needs, fine and gross motor delays, and neurological disorders. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapy services to pediatric clients. 

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address sensory, motor, and neurological challenges. 

  • Work in home-based settings, providing therapy services that enhance the quality of life for children and their families. 

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support children’s developmental goals. 

  • Document and monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed. 

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist in the state of Connecticut. 
  • Strong understanding of sensory integration/processing, fine and gross motor delays, and neurological disorders. 
  • Preferred experience with pediatric feeding disorders and home-based therapy settings. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
