For more than 50 years, Bet Tzedek has set the standard for innovation and excellence in economic justice law. One of the nation’s premier nonprofit legal aid organizations, Bet Tzedek – the House of Justice – is hiring a mission-driven, team-oriented Grants Officer to join our dynamic development department, which raises over $15M annually. The Grants Officer is part of a six-person institutional giving team that manages all aspects of Bet Tzedek’s grant funding, including data collection, proposal development, outcomes reporting, and relationship management. This position works closely with program, finance, and executive staff to strategically develop and manage a portfolio of private and government grants.
This position is eligible for Bet Tzedek Legal Services’ hybrid/remote workplace designation. While the primary workplace is Bet Tzedek’s offices, at the discretion of the immediate supervisor, the employee may be permitted to work remotely or may be required to work in other locations depending on workload/business obligations Candidates must be located in the Southern California region and able to commute if needed.
