Job description

Drive reporting, process and discipline for finance routines to shape and influence decision-making (e.g. budget, forecast, monthly reviews, long-range plans)
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
Build and own models for in-depth analyses, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy
Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification and reporting enhancements.
Lead the budgeting and financial planning processes; monitor performance against budgets.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Build and enhance relationships with investors, regulators, banking partners and provide leadership and support to the teams.
Facilitate timely and granular closing of books and performance management across treasury, controller and tax processes and partnering very closely with finance operations.
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution of findings.
Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Support senior management with financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Manage and mentor finance team members to drive high performance and professional development.

Requirements

8+ years of progressive experience in audit, finance/accounting roles, with at least 3+ years leadership roles in global or multinational finance operations. Experience in the fin-tech, payments, or technology industry is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in IFRS, accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Prior experience leading and managing a global finance team
Proven ability to drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
Professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) required.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
