Aledade is seeking a strategic and driven Senior Director of Corporate Development to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. In this high-impact role, you will lead corporate development initiatives—including evaluating both organic and inorganic growth opportunities, driving M&A sourcing and execution, and supporting capital planning and strategy. You’ll also collaborate across Finance on cross-functional strategic projects that shape the future of the organization. While this is currently an individual contributor role, there is strong potential to build and lead a small team as the function evolves and scales.
We are flexible with geographic location—the ideal candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or from our Bethesda, MD or Durham, NC offices.
Primary Duties:
Develop strategic growth opportunities, including market evaluation, problem and opportunity definition, evaluation, and business plan development:Target and evaluate potential acquisitions and/or strategic partnerships based on market positioning and fit with long-term company strategyConstruct financial projections models and valuation analysesLead diligence, coordination, and execution of M&A and/or strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders:Communicate status updates and key decision points to executive leadershipConduct build / buy / partner analyses and assist in capital allocation decisionsNegotiate definitive agreements, term sheets, and letters of intentProvide support and partnership on integration planningAdditional Duties:Drive capital planning strategy, including the evaluation of capital alternatives (debt and equity) to meet business needs over time, partnering with executive leadership and external partners as needed, and executing on strategic plansProvide partnership on additional strategic Finance team projects (including support for investor relations and internal controls)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required in business, finance, economics, or other related field12+ years of relevant, progressive working experience in investment banking, corporate M&A, or other finance-related roleHealthcare industry experience strongly preferredPreferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:Public company experience preferredValue-based Care experience a plusStrong quantitative and analytic modeling experience, skills, and referencesStrong relationship building / influencing skillset, especially in regards to influencing executive leadership and representing the company with external stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and proactive in raising questions around prioritization and potential blockers to drive assigned tasks forwardSelf-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high level of autonomyCollaborative team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentalityDetail-oriented and self-motivated to produce work that meets high standardsPhysical Requirements:Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
