Job Description:

As a Named Account Manager on our Enterprise Sales team, you will identify and engage with high-quality brands or manufactures based in China that are selling in overseas marketplaces, as well as organize meetings and pitch Pattern’s services. You'll be conducting sales activities in the US, APAC, and EMEA as we accelerate towards our revenue objectives. This is a full-time role based in Shanghai, China.

What is a day in the life?

  • Research and understand the prospective client’s business goals, objectives and challenges
  • Ability to communicate value propositions and recommendations effectively to the leadership within a prospective partner
  • Active involvement in the implementation of each new partner to ensure a quick and complete realization of revenue
  • Develop a culture of solution-based selling with a focus on value-based outcomes VS. feature/function
  • Deliver aggressive sales plans by segment and territory
  • Be an exemplary brand champion and work closely with marketing and product to maximize brand awareness and lead generation possibilities
  • Comfortable using Salesforce and Strategic Selling Methodologies. – MEDDIC, Solution Selling and Challenger Sale Methodologies
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of complex ERP, MRP, PLM, CRM, or consulting-type enterprise selling at the C-Suite
  • 5+ years of cross-boarder experience
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills
  • Ability to represent Pattern in a polished and professional manner to existing and potential clients
  • Strong work ethic and self-discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Previous exposure to Marketplaces, specifically (but not limited to) Amazon
  • International experience
  • Business development experience China’s overseas ecommerce ecosystem
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • You will work alongside the US sales team and report to the Director of Sales. This team is data-driven and results-oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team and work across departments with other senior-level colleagues to implement actionable solutions.
