Job description

R1RCM is a looking for a Product Marketing Director, RCM Enterprise Partnership to drive the marketing strategy for the company’s End-to-End RCM Strategic Partnerships business line, specifically targeting mid to large IDN market. In this pivotal role, the Product Marketing Director, RCM Enterprise Partnership serves as the cohesive force among multidisciplinary teams, including but not limited to commercial, marketing, operations, product, and client success, aligning strategy and storytelling with actionable tactics that drive tangible results.

Responsibilities will include deep understanding of whitespace for driving market segmentation as well as conducting competitive analysis, market research and customer analysis. The Product Marketing Director will play a critical role in translating market gaps and customer pain points into compelling stories that are differentiated and resonate with our buyers. This position provides a unique opportunity to harness AI in strategic endeavors, particularly with our exclusive partnership with Palantir, a leader in AI-native platforms.

This role will be a founding member of the product marketing team, supported by a full range of internal and agency marketing resources and partnered with commercial and product leaders to drive revenue and customer adoption

Here’s what you will experience as the Product Marketing Director:

1. Own Product Portfolio Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Drive quarterly business reviews and product health reports, synthesizing product performance, market trends, win/loss insights, client sentiment, and competitive dynamics.

  • Serve as the connective tissue between product, sales, and strategy, ensuring leadership has a clear view of portfolio momentum and market opportunities.

  • Lead whitespace analysis and shape market-informed growth strategies.

2. Develop & Activate Strategic Messaging and Storytelling

  • Position R1’s offerings as modern, AI-centric, and differentiated across all channels and buyer personas.

  • Translate complex capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for sales enablement, client pitches, digital assets, case studies, and RFPs.

  • Oversee development and rollout of impactful messaging frameworks and value propositions that resonate with health system leaders.

3. Drive GTM Alignment Across Commercial & Customer Partnerships

  • Partner deeply with commercial leads to shape and support go-to-market strategy, including renewals, expansions, and new enterprise wins.

  • Work closely with customer partnership teams to amplify client stories and build a strong pipeline of case studies and testimonials that prove ROI and partnership value.

  • Lead integrated launch strategies for product innovations, ensuring commercial readiness and execution excellence.

4. Lead Competitive Intelligence & Differentiation Strategy

  • Monitor market dynamics and competitors to proactively shape positioning, arm the field with battlecards, and drive updates to GTM based on win/loss insights.

  • Contribute to R1’s competitive intelligence program and ensure findings are integrated into messaging, enablement, and executive insights.

5. Align and Execute Against Enterprise Marketing Objectives

  • Define, track, and execute against strategic marketing plans in alignment with enterprise growth priorities.

  • Lead internal cross-functional initiatives and serve as a thought partner to executive stakeholders, bridging insights across product, marketing, sales, and operations.

  • Represent marketing in key strategic programs, integration workstreams, and organizational planning efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in a BPO/outsourcing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research).

  • Domain experience in the Revenue Cycle, with preference in BPO/outsourcing or healthcare consulting.

  • Demonstrated work history in-market that showcases excellence at both high-level product marketing and GTM strategy & execution as well as influence of others to achieve a common goal.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, org savvy, with demonstrated experience collaborating working within a product management organization.

  • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.

  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office.

  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Salesforce.

  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $112,151.00 - $167,640.70 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 20.00%
