We are looking for a Data Engineer to work with us full-time in a remote setup for our Australian-based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The key objective of the Data Engineer is to enable our business to make better data driven decisions by helping load data into our new Data Platform. A key part of this role will be to effectively work with our technology & business stakeholders to ingest, load, and transform data.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Functional Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including data integration, data engineering, and real-time analytics.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
Create and maintain pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and modeling using Microsoft Fabric's Data Factory and other integrated tools.
Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
Develop robust data models tailored to business needs and prepare data for advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization.
Implement and manage data governance policies within Microsoft Fabric to maintain data quality, security, and compliance.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, performing proactive maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
Provide insights and custom reporting using Fabric's analytic capabilities, such as Power BI integrated within the platform.
Stay up-to-date with Microsoft's evolving Fabric ecosystem, continuously researching new features to enhance solutions.
Document technical processes, frameworks, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Work with end-users and team members to effectively utilize data solutions powered by Microsoft Fabric.
