CPT-9123 Accounts Payable Clerk

SERVICE: Business Support
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Intermediate Entry, Junior, Senior, Advanced
HOURS/WEEK: 40 hours
SHIFT TIME ZONE: Eastern Standard Timezone
SHIFT HOURS: 8 AM - 5 PM EST (40 hours)
SHIFT DAYS: Monday - Friday

GENDER PREFERENCE: None

LANGUAGES SPOKEN/PREFERENCE: English
REGION PREFERENCES: Philippines and Mexico only (due to client's remote database restrictions)

Client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Accounting team. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable and assisting with invoice investigations, data entry, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Investigate and resolve issues with invoices that are flagged due to errors or missing information
  • Perform accurate data entry into accounting systems
  • Support other areas of the Accounts Payable (AP) function as needed
Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines
  • Strong ethical standards and dependability
  • Metrics โ€“ 250+ invoices corrected/processed daily
Software and Applications
  • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with invoice management or document processing systems is a plus
  • Inhouse software called: VANTACA (client to train); web-based
  • MS Office โ€“ mandatory Outlook, Teams
  • MS Forms - preferred (and will be used)
