Join Keep as our Accounting Manager, where you’ll lead core accounting functions and U.S. tax compliance as we scale our operations across borders. You’ll work at the intersection of financial accuracy and strategic insight—building reliable systems, managing reporting, and guiding cross-border tax strategy. You have a strong background in accounting and tax compliance, with a focus on U.S. federal and state filings.
You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and confident leading accounting operations with minimal oversight.
You’re proactive and systems-minded—always looking to improve processes, documentation, and controls.
You work well across teams and communicate clearly with finance, operations, and leadership.
You’re comfortable with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and QuickBooks Online, and you can confidently navigate complex month-end close activities.
You enjoy working in dynamic, high-growth environments where change is constant and impact is immediate.
Experience with Canadian and/or Mexican tax regulations (e.g., SAT filings, CFDIs)
Knowledge of U.S. sales tax nexus rules across states
Familiarity with cross-border tax strategy in North America
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and multi-jurisdiction tax software
Exposure to fintech or interest in the financial technology space
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
U.S. Tax Compliance & Strategy:
Lead U.S. tax filings across federal, state, and local levels.
Provide insight on tax implications of business decisions and product offerings.
Stay current on tax legislation and assess potential impact.
Cross-Border Optimization:
Support the development of tax strategies across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Coordinate with external advisors and internal teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
Accounting Operations:
Oversee day-to-day financial transactions including receipt entry, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
Manage bill processing and resolve payment discrepancies.
Maintain clear, organized, and auditable financial records.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements and journal entries.
Support the month-end close and collaborate on reporting for leadership and investors.
Ensure implementation of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Play a key role in building and scaling the finance function at one of Canada’s most ambitious fintechs.
Take ownership of tax and accounting strategy in a high-impact environment.
Work directly with leadership and gain exposure to complex cross-border operations.
Shape how our finance function grows as the company expands across North America.
