This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule:
  • Total hours: 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
  • Monday - Friday
  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM New Jersey time 
  • With 1 hour unpaid break in between
Client time zone: New Jersey, USA - EDT

Company Overview:
The client operates an insurance agency with a call center environment. They focus on selling Medicare Advantage policies. Their current process involves insurance agents taking inbound calls directly from potential customers who have seen ads on platforms like Facebook or television.

About the job:
The Contracting Specialist will support our insurance agents by managing and expediting the contracting process with major carriers. This person must be tech-savvy, highly organized, and able to assist agents by completing contracting quizzes, forms, and requirements on their behalf (where allowed), while clearly communicating any remaining tasks the agent must complete themselves.

Responsibilities:
  • Navigate carrier portals quickly and efficiently to complete agent contracting tasks.
  • Use AI tools to assist in completing quizzes and tests for agents where permitted.
  • Communicate effectively with agents to inform them of pending items and assist with next steps.
  • Track and organize each agent's contracting progress using Go High Level CRM.
  • Map out the entire contracting workflow for each agent and provide regular updates.
  • Communicate with the internal Golden Bridge team regarding any roadblocks, delays, or issues that arise during the contracting process.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all documentation and submissions.


Requirements
  • Strong computer proficiency, with the ability to move quickly between platforms and tools.
  • Previous experience in insurance contracting or licensing support preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple agent files simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to expedite tasks.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Go High Level is a plus).
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as needed to support the evolving contracting process.
  • Must have a professional and supportive demeanor with agents and internal team members.
Performance Expectations:
  • Quick turnaround times for agent contracting processes.
  • Clear and consistent tracking of agent progress and outstanding items within Go High Level.
  • Proactive communication about roadblocks or delays to the internal team.
  • Effective follow-up and support to ensure agent contracting success.
