The Strategy and Governance Director will be responsible for developing maturity and establishing processes to promote business alignment and improved service delivery while maintaining the most effective/efficient use of technology resources. We are looking for an experienced governance professional with a proven track record of establishing and progressively building a governance program in a large complex IT organization.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Develop tactical and operational plans in collaboration with IT leadership for the respective Center of Excellence.
Manage and deploy COE specialists to support the needs and priorities of each domain.
Manage the overall operations of the COE to improve costs, performance, and end-user satisfaction.
Serve as the business relationship partner between the domain and COE.
Manage work within functional areas, support, end-user service, and operational activities within the COE.
Coordinate the implementation of enterprise-wide information technology support related to respective COE.
Audit the implementation, delivery, and standard of services performed through the COE.
Manage team to ensure quality hiring, performance management, training and skill development, and employee engagement efforts.
Develop and administer systems area policies and procedures.
Provide quality information systems and customer service to the user community.
Provide project status updates and resolve issues to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
Support the execution of agile practices throughout COE in partnership with Domain Advisor.
Build operating and capital budgets, review finances on a monthly basis, disclose reasons for variances to leadership, drive efficiencies in the business, and achieve all financial goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
ITIL Foundations certification required within 6 months of position start date
7 years of functionally related experience, including at least 4 years of progressive management experience
Strong communication, leadership, team building and project management skills
Experience with financial budget planning, managing, analysis and reporting
Demonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams
Can lead major initiatives to a successful result
Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Can work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and agile to meet business objectives
Possesses Serving Leadership skills beyond technical expertise
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Physical Requirements:
Typical physical demands include a moderate degree of dexterity to produce materials on a computer.
This position requires normal or corrected vision and hearing and the ability to verbally communicate with employees and patients.
Physical demands include office work and the mobility sufficient to attend meetings throughout the Clinic.
This position must be available after hours for support.
