Compensation Pay Range:
$119,200.00 - $178,800.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal System Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data center infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our mission-critical systems across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in data center systems architecture, including compute, storage, and networking, with a strong focus on Cisco-based solutions.
The Principal System Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert, collaborating closely with network engineers, software teams, and data center operations to develop innovative solutions that support business growth and technology transformation.
Key Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in large-scale data center environments.
Expert knowledge of data center infrastructure including rack design, cabling, power and cooling, virtualization, and automation.
Advanced Cisco certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE), with strong hands-on experience in Cisco UCS, Nexus, and ACI technologies.
Proven track record in system integration, performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and capacity forecasting.
Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-vendor environments is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence technology strategy
