Position Available: Creative Lead

Location: Taiwan (100% REMOTE)

Reporting to: Headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia (100% REMOTE)

 
Role Overview

We’re seeking a highly driven and visionary Creative Lead to shape and execute the visual identity of Monaco Modern across all customer touchpoints. This individual will be responsible for developing compelling brand storytelling and high impact creative assets that define and distinguish Monaco Modern in the competitive world of contemporary furniture.

Key Responsibilities

Website Homepage & Digital Campaigns

  • Own the look and feel of the website homepage — leading seasonal refreshes and product storytelling layout.
  • Direct scene selection and art direction for homepage banners, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
  • Partner with eCommerce and UX teams to ensure the visual experience enhances user engagement and conversion. 


Visual Merchandising & Scene Decision

  • Lead art direction for product photography and room scene styling that aligns with the Monaco Modern aesthetic (light-filled, geometric balance, luxurious minimalism).
  • Ensure visual consistency across hero shots, thumbnails, and product detail pages.


Email-Facing Creative

  • Design and direct all visual assets for email marketing: product launches, trend edits, seasonal lookbooks, and sale campaigns.
  • Work closely with the CRM and copy teams to integrate clean design with persuasive storytelling.


Trend & Style Guides

  • Develop trend-forward seasonal style guides to inspire customers and internal teams.
  • Monitor global design, color, and interior trends to keep Monaco Modern’s aesthetic fresh and relevant.
  • Translate inspiration into visual themes for campaigns, photo shoots, and mood boards.



Retail Pop-Up Experience

  • Conceptualize and direct the visual environment of physical pop-up activations — including signage, layout, and customer-facing materials.
  • Ensure pop-up design reflects Monaco Modern’s core values: elevated simplicity, tactile luxury, and modern sophistication.


Who You Are

  • A strong visual storyteller with a refined eye for modern aesthetics.
  • Deeply experienced in art direction, graphic design, and branding for lifestyle or premium furniture brands.
  • Equally strategic and hands-on — able to drive a creative vision from concept to execution.
  • Obsessed with consistency, detail, and emotional connection in visuals.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma; experience with photo/video direction is a plus.
