Who we are looking for

Our Antenna Measurements Department is looking for an Antenna Test Engineer. Being part of this team, you will have the opportunity to make a major impact in the way that Gilat develops, tests and manufactures its products. Our Environment fosters product innovation, rapid product iterations and a liberating amount of autonomy. 

What you will do

·        Work with multi-disciplinary team of antenna, mechanical, RF, digital, and software engineers to develop antenna system test plans for advanced active and passive antennas covering from X to Ka bands.

·        Maintain and operate Near Field Scanner, Open Test Range, Anechoic Chamber, and other test equipment to execute test plans independently.

·        Perform antenna measurements of various parameters, using high-tech modern equipment and laboratories.

·        Analyses and verification of test results.

·        Work with hardware and software engineers to build test setups for customized tests

·        Process test results and document in test reports.

Requirements

·        B.Sc. or higher degree in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering/Physics or other relevant technical degree

·        Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators would be considered an advantage

·        Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office, MATLAB and other common software tools

·        Knowledge of any programming language/principals would be considered an advantage

·        Good communication skills both written and verbal

·        Good English level

·        Ability to work with cross functional teams

·        Motivation for learning and upskilling
