We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ruby and Rails Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Ruby development and a proven track record in creating high-quality, scalable web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable applications.

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code in Ruby and associated technologies.

• Work with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Express for developing server-side logic.

• Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and Docker Compose.

• Utilize Azure cloud services, including Azure cloud functions, to deploy and manage applications.

• Develop and maintain microservices and architect event-based systems.

• Enhance system performance and reliability through the use of monitoring tools such as App Insights, New Relic, DataDog, and Splunk.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.

• Collaborate with fast-paced Agile teams, contributing to sprints and delivering iterative progress.

• Ensure code quality through the use of Unit Testing frameworks.

• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software development.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Software development.

• 3+ years of experience in Ruby development.

• 2+ years of experience in containerization (Docker/Docker Compose) and Azure Cloud services (Azure functions).

• Proficiency with JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js, Express, and Microservices architecture.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.

• Proficient in using monitoring and analytics tools like App Insights, New Relic, DataDog, and Splunk.

• Experience with event-based system architecture.

• Familiarity with React is beneficial but not required.

• Expertise with Unit Testing frameworks.

• Working experience with fast-paced Agile teams.
