Veolia Water Technologies Europe is seeking a strategic, data-driven leader to head our Market and Business Intelligence function. In this key role, you will drive actionable insights and empower data-driven decision-making across Europe operations by transforming market data into smart, commercial decisions that drive growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.

Reporting to the Marketing Director Europe, this is a senior leadership role where you’ll shape and implement our intelligence strategy across multiple European markets. You will lead the market and business intelligence team, develop robust data practices, and collaborate closely with regional and global teams to deliver high-impact insights that support business development, marketing, and sales initiatives.

What you will be doing;

  • Drive the strategy for market and business intelligence in alignment with European commercial goals.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing market and business intelligence team

  • Lead comprehensive market research, competitor tracking, and predictive modelling to inform strategic decisions.

  • Oversee the development of analytics dashboards, reporting systems, and visualisation tools.

  • Ensure data governance, integrity, and quality across CRM, ERP, and other business systems.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risks, and support pipeline growth.

  • Guide the use of AI, automation, and new technologies to enhance intelligence capabilities.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support planning and execution.
     

What we are looking for;

  • A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Market Research, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a senior market / business intelligence role, ideally within an industrial or technology environment.

  • Expertise in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Python, and a strong grasp of data modelling and visualisation.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and driving a data-driven culture.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic guidance.
