Duties and Responsibilities:

• The company is building a scalable microservices-based architecture based on serverless infrastructure on AWS. The Tech Lead will be exposed to technologies such as React, React Native, Typescript, Node, Docker, Terraform/Terragrunt, Github Actions, CircleCI, Datadog, and other platforms.
• Organising, staffing and managing a new offshore team for a tech company.
• Interact with key customers / attend client meetings as required
• Determining project requirements.
• Identifying and fixing technical problems with their team.
• Mentoring and developing individuals across the team.
• Delegating tasks and achieving team OKRs.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

• 3+ years’ experience as a tech lead, leading at teams of >7
• Implementing, maintaining and running production technology at scale
• Experience working in a start-up/scale-up
• Degree or similar qualification in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a full-stack, cross-functional Software Engineer.
• Proven experience managing offshore engineering function
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities
• Strong knowledge of code quality assurance, design direction, and metrics.

Advantageous Skills/Experience:

• Experience in financial services (FinTech).
• Experience working Cross functionally across Product, Testing, DevOps and Development.
