Job Title: Video Editor
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1000 USD / month, negotiable based on experience and skills

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Video Editor to take raw video assets and turn them into polished, engaging content ready for distribution across social platforms. You'll work closely with the CEO and a content editor to shape messaging, ensure consistency, and maintain high visual standards. A strong sense of timing, rhythm, and brand voice is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, social media, and internal communications.
  • Perform basic color correction, audio balancing, and pacing adjustments.
  • Integrate text, motion graphics, and transitions to elevate storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and the content editor to implement feedback efficiently.
  • Manage file organization and version control to ensure smooth delivery workflows.
  • Keep up with editing trends and suggest improvements in style or tools.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating video storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, feedback-driven environment.
  • Strong English fluency, both verbal and written.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with CapCut, Opus, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience editing for thought leadership, coaching, or educational brands.
  • Familiarity with creating clips optimized for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram Reels.
  • Basic motion design or animation capabilities.
