Overview:
Welocalize is seeking a South Korea-based patent filing associate firm to support client legal teams in executing jurisdiction-specific patent filing and validation activities. This partnership forms part of a broader multi-country filing program focused on optimizing quality, cost, and compliance in global IP processes.

Scope of Work
  • Handle national phase entry and validation of PCT applications in South Korea.
  • Collaborate with international legal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions to the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).
  • Provide local representation and expert insight into KIPO procedural and documentation requirements.
  • Offer guidance on timelines, formalities, and updates related to Korean patent prosecution and filings.
  • Participate in rate discussions and provide transparent pricing (hourly, task-based, or official fee structure as applicable).

  • Registered and authorized to act before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).
  • Legally permitted to file and prosecute patent applications on behalf of international clients in South Korea.
