Job Summary: 

OWT Global is seeking highly specialized and experienced individuals to serve as ATAK Subject Matter Experts (SME) for the US Air Force. The role would involve training military personnel on the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK), troubleshooting devices, assisting with device maintenance, and helping develop tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for its operational use.

 

These positions are pending contract award. Individuals selected will be required to travel often; CONUS and possibly OCONUS. The role requires individuals who are not only proficient in ATAK but also experienced in training and the operational and tactical needs of military personnel, specifically USAF Security Forces, Firefighters and other First Responders.

 

 Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute a training plan to assist Training Sections with novice and advanced ATAK training, focused on daily operations and unit TAK Program Managers.
  • Be a self-driven SME, willing to travel and support multiple Units in a years’ time.
  • Maintain proficiency with ATAK and all plugins required by the customer. Be prepared to suggest additional plugins that may meet new customer requirements.
  • Be familiar with TAK servers and their operations.
  • Become familiar with the Mobile Device Manager, Watchtower, for device provisioning.

Job Requirements:

  • US Citizen, with the ability to possess a US passport
  • At least a Secret Security Clearance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Operational ATAK experience
  • Ability to conduct classroom and individual training
  • Ability to assist in writing TTPs for integration of ATAK into daily operations
  • Ability to travel and work outdoors in a multi-climate environment supporting USAF personnel
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint products

Valued Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • 4+ years of operational ATAK experience
  • 6+ years of USAF First Responder experience with knowledge of garrison and forward operations
