Job description

This is a remote position.

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns.

The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills - effective interaction, resourceful, and able to find solutions independently, anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them, can be trusted to handle information, maintain confidentiality, and consistently deliver quality work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral.

  • Monitor, reply, and manage review sites (e.g. Google, Facebook)

  • Create and produce marketing campaigns and sales funnels using the company’s software.

  • Help organize and promote marketing events such as conferences, webinars, campus open days and specialty events.

  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics in order to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends.

  • Write and edit content (written, video and photo) for different platforms such as social media, website, print, and press releases.

  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.

  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.

  • Update website including uploading new content as and when required.

  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.

  • Personal Assistant tasks, as and where directed including email and calendar.

  • Conduct additional research as requested



Requirements

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency in design platforms - Canva/Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong English Language Skills - verbal and written

  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Basic website editing skills (WordPress) – ie upload a blog post, insert hyperlink, resize and insert images

  • Understanding of SEO and website best practices

  • Strong writing skills - conversational Australian English

  • Basic Video Editing and publishing skills – add logo, upload to Youtube.

  • Basic Photo Editing Skills – Adobe Photoshop

  • At least 3 + years’ experience in Marketing

  • Experience with email marketing platforms
