Job Description Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Biostatistics and Data Management services for the Life Sciences industry. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for outbound sales and a strong understanding of clinical research services.

You will play a key role in expanding our Biometrics client base, identifying new opportunities, and building lasting relationships with stakeholders across the industry.

Job Description

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

· Proactively identify and engage potential clients through a variety of channels: online research, conferences, referrals, cold outreach, networking, and professional directories.

· Schedule and lead discovery calls and meetings to understand client needs and present tailored solutions, in collaboration with the VP of Biometrics Outsourcing and the Operations team.

· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Market & Service Expertise

· Develop a deep understanding of our Biometrics and Clinical service offerings, industry trends, client profiles, and common challenges.

· Be aware of market dynamics and developing trends to anticipate client needs and position our services effectively.

Collaboration & Execution

· Work closely with Biometrics Operations and the Commercial team to ensure seamless handling of opportunities and proposals.

· Clearly communicate service value, pricing rationale, and timelines to prospective clients.

· Support internal alignment and knowledge sharing across teams.

Business Growth & Reporting

· Contribute to revenue targets by converting leads into opportunities and closing deals.

· Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proven experience in a client-facing or sales role, ideally within the clinical research or life sciences sector.

· At least 5 years of experience in clinical research or related fields (e.g., clinical recruitment or talent acquisition).

· Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and understand client needs.

· Customer-focused mindset with a drive to exceed expectations.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Comfortable working in a globally distributed team with diverse backgrounds and cultures.

· Analytical thinking and close attention to detail.
