Job description

Harbor Health is looking for a Neurologist to become a member of our team! Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in Austin, TX utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it, allowing everyone to fully flourish. Join us as we build a fully integrated system that connects care to a better payment model that truly puts the human being at the center.

The General Neurologist will have an important role in shaping care at Harbor Health. In addition to providing general neurological care and consultation primarily in the ambulatory setting, the Neurologist will develop care pathways and clinical rules to support primary care colleagues. Services will include in-person, virtual, and telephone visits. Harbor emphasizes the health of the panel rather than typical productivity measures in fee-for-service. As a specialist, you will work in an innovative, team-based care environment with an emphasis on digital health.

Our Neurologist will be responsible for:

  • Providing general neurological care and consultation to Harbor members
  • Developing care pathways and clinical rules
  • Collaborating to provide team-based care
  • Providing Clinician-to-Clinician (C2C) e-consultation to streamline care for issues that do not require an in-person assessment
  • Being involved in population health management to ensure appropriate screening for and treatment of neurology diseases across the Harbor Health population

Successful Neurologists will have:

  • An MD or DO, along with the successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency program
  • Board certification in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • A Texas Medical License or be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas

If you are passionate about health care and you want to create something new together, we want you to be a part of our team!
